Kirtan with Angela Hassan
Kirtan is a practice of devotion — a heart-opening experience of call-and-response chanting rooted in the path of bhakti yoga. Led by Angela's angelic voice and supported by harmonium, acoustic guitar and rhythm, each gathering becomes a sacred circle of sound, meditation, and community. Through mantra and melody, participants are invited into presence — where joy and unity flow naturally.
Angela Hassan is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist specializing in guitar, zither, and harmonium. Most known for leading kirtan, she also offers meditative sound journeys and live music for yoga classes. Her music blends her angelic voice and devotion with transcendent sound to create an environment which softens the heart and invites deep connection.
With more than a decade of experience and certifications in yoga, meditation, and multiple energy healing modalities, Angela's offerings gently guide people back to themselves, to their breath, their heart, and the present moment. She has worked with various communities including youth, young adults, senior citizens, people in recovery, incarcerated individuals, and the general public. Angela has shared music across the globe, including the United States, Europe, India, and Africa.

Choosing Your Price
When you register for a workshop, you can choose from one of three price options.
Top range: The highest option for the workshop reflects the true cost of the service—that is, the price that a studio without a sliding scale would charge to cover expenses and pay teachers appropriately. Please note: This price is not paying “extra”; it’s the fair market value for the class or service.
We recommend paying this price if: you are financially secure, have personal savings, or own property. You would pay for a similar experience at this price point elsewhere without worrying about how it would impact your ability to spend money on other things.
Middle range: The middle option for a workshop is a discounted price that does not fully cover the costs of running the class or service.
We recommend paying this price if: you have access to steady income and your basic needs are met, but are working to pay off debt or build savings. While paying for this class might mean you have to cut back on things like going out to dinner or buying new clothes, it won’t harm you in the long term.
Lower range: The lowest price for a workshop is a further discounted price that does not cover the costs of running the class or service.
We recommend paying this price if: you have access to basic needs, but your financial situation feels tenuous. You would have to save up for many months to be able to afford a higher price point.
Please note: We are committed to welcoming all members of our community to our studio. If the lowest price is still out of reach for you, please email [email protected].
